El Dorado police recovered marijuana, codeine cough syrup, firearms, and digital scales in three drug busts that resulted in the arrest of three people this week. Aleck C. Gayle, 33, appeared in Union County District Court (UCDC) on Friday on charges of delivery of a controlled substance, three counts, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, failure to keep records (maintaining a drug premises), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Gayle, who was arrested Wednesday, was issued a bond of $10,000.
Arrested on drug charges Friday morning were 33-year-old Willie Simmons Jr., and 27-year-old Jerrell Hodge.

Arvy James Flanigan, 23

Arvy James Flanigan, 23, fled in a vehicle with his wife and an associate prior to execution of the warrant and was stopped by Corinth police after a short pur­suit.
During the pursuit Flanigan was observed tossing something out the driver’s window that was later recovered and ident­ified as methamphetamine, according to the sheriff’s office.
Officers recovered 60 grams of methamphetamine, $1,000 in currency and six firearms.
Flanigan was arrested and charged with manufacture or de­li­very of more than 4 grams but less than 200 grams of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, a first-degree felony punishable by life in prison or a term of 5 to 99 years, and a fine up to $10,000.

Lisa D. Bivona, 44, of Hawley, charged with eight counts of possession with intent to deliver/delivery of a controlled substance, heroin, all felonies; and two counts of criminal use of a communication facility, a felony; and two counts of possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Judge Rose set bail at $100,000.

Ernest J. Lamonica

Ernest J. Lamonica, 21, of Hawley, charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, heroin, a felony; and two counts of criminal use of a communication facility, a felony. Judge Fischer set bail at $100,000.

Diana H. Mason

Diana H. Mason, 22, of Rowland, charged with delivery of a controlled substance, methadone pills, a felony; and criminal use of a communication facility, a felony. Judge Fischer set bail at $50,000.

Christopher W. Trimble

Christopher W. Trimble, 21, of Middletown, N.Y., charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, cocaine, a felony; and criminal use of a communication facility, a felony.

Mark F. Frankenthal and Lisa Bivona. Officers discovered approximately 83 bags of heroin, $4,732.00 in cash and surveillance equipment at the house.
Those arrested on Dec. 14, and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Deborah Fischer .

Lt. Michael Ferguson, who worked at Engine Nine in the Bond Hill neighborhood, was a key part of the illegal operation, authorities said.
"The firefighter played just as significant a role as the others," said Russ Neville, special agent in charge of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration office in Cincinnati. "He wasn't the leader, but he was in there with all the rest."
Federal drug agents broke up a marijuana distribution ring this week, making 12 arrests in Greater Cincinnati on Thursday and Friday. Maurice Ferguson, 36, who owns the 513 Store in Walnut Hills, was the leader of the ring. The store sells Hip Hop clothing.
Maurice Ferguson, who sources said is related to Michael Ferguson, was arrested Thursday in Florence, Ky., in a retail strip where he was looking into opening a similar store, said Neville. He said Cincinnati and Florence police joined DEA officers in making arrests.
The group received shipments of 1,500 to 3,000 pounds of marijuana a month from a supplier in Riverside, Calif. The bales of marijuana came by tractor-trailer and were divided among several "stash houses," Neville said.

Tarachjae Lafon Murphy,22, of 113 Frazier Drive, Chester was picked up on a city bench warrant and also charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute.

Joel Ray Hunter, aka "Joey," 25, of 1676 Boyd Road, Chester, was charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute.

Donald Grier

Donald Grier, 54, of 768 Lancaster Highway Chester, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

Rodney Danielle Dillingham

Rodney Danielle Dillingham, 25, 759 Sitton Road, Chester, was picked up on a General Sessions bench warrant and also charged with simple possession of marijuana

George Antron Gore

George Antron Gore, aka "Tron," 24, of 225 Ligon St., Chester was charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute. on bond charged with a shooting last year.

Keon Jamar Blackmon, aka "Q, Shorty," 18, of 524 Sirrene St., Chester, no charge listed. He was not cooperative while booking, Sheriff’s office staff said. He is charged with distribution of cocaine.

Kenneth Scott Beavers, 33, of 557 Third St, Chester, was arrested and charged with possesion of cocaine with intent to distribute.

A teacher found the weed when the child was going through his backpack looking for supplies.
Police say the child’s mother admitted the drugs were hers, and so was the rest of the marijuana found in her home. That mother is now under arrest.
