"There are Nigerians that have made the country proud in the United States; we will therefore resist any attempt for a select few to indulge in ignoble acts such as drug trafficking," Giade said.
Preliminary investigation report conducted by the NDLEA showed that the deportees had served various jail terms ranging from five months to sixteen years.
Among the deportees, six are from Lagos State while three are from Edo and Imo states respectively. Two are from Ogun State while Anambra, Enugu, Ekiti, Kwara and Oyo states have one each.

I am dumbfounded at the headline on google news listing Oragbon Michael Osai as one of the deportees from United States of America due to Drug trafficking. this is very sad as it is only in a country like Nigeria that one can find that people just pick up their pen and write news items without verifying their sources and painfully they do not bother to check properly to avoid deforming innocent people's character.
It is a shame that Oragbon Michael Osai's name has been added to the names of drug offenders as reported in www.naijarules.com, allafrica.com, odili.net and several other online news sources. It is a big shame and if you must all know, Oragbon Michael Osai has never lived in the United States of America, neither was he repatriated from the United States due to drug trafficking.
